I Enjoy Coffee (And Maybe a Little Sleep)

Life is totally hectic these days. Between work, family, and trying to squeeze in some me time/self-care/relaxation, it can be difficult to keep up. But there's one thing that always gets me through: coffee. I truly love the smell of a good cup of joe, and it gives me the boost I need to tackle the day.

Of course, I also know that sleep is important. But sometimes, when you're running through a busy schedule, it can be hard to get enough shut-eye. So, on those days when I'm feeling particularly tired, I might just indulge in a little extra coffee (and maybe even skip a nap/power nap/quick snooze).

No condemnation here – we all have our vices. And for me, it's a warm mug of coffee and the promise of a productive day/getting things done/accomplishing my goals.

Driven by Java and Mayhem

Life's a fractured kaleidoscope. We crash headlong into each day, powered by that sweet, sweet caffeine. It's a thrilling ride and we wouldn't have it any other way.

We push through deadlines, fueled by that energy shot. The sways around us, but we soldier on. We're the masters of mayhem.

When life gets overwhelming, and the usual anxiety relief methods aren't doing the trick, I turn to my peculiar source of comfort: a trusty coffee maker. This ritualistic process of pulverizing beans, adding hot water, and patiently allowing for the perfect concoction becomes my escape. Let's be real, adulting/being responsible/keeping it together is a tough/grueling/real pain. Between work/school/trying to figure out life, there's barely time/energy/motivation left for anything else. That's where coffee comes in.
